June 8 marked the birthday of Frank Lloyd Wright, one of history's most influential architects. To celebrate, Warren and I attended The EntreArchitect Experience at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin.

The CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter's June luncheon brought together four powerhouse women shaping commercial real estate across Houston and beyond. The Women Leaders in CRE Spotlight panel featured D'Etta Casto-DeLeon (CBRE), Kristin Burton (AOG Living), Jenny Steelman (Third Coast Bank), and Hollan Hensley (Newmark) — and they did not hold back.

Austin was the backdrop this week for Bisnow's Future of Austin Healthcare and Life Sciences event, where Houston firms showed strong representation. A standout moment was chatting with keynote speaker Dr. Claudia Lucchinetti, SVP for Medical Affairs at UT Austin. Her update on the future UT Dell Medical Center and UT Campus for Advanced Research was fascinating. The scale could reshape healthcare and innovation across Texas.

This Memorial Day, we paused to honor and remember the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their bravery and selflessness will never be forgotten, and we are deeply grateful for the families who carry their legacy with strength and pride.

The CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter May luncheon featured Philip T. Fitzgerald of 7 Bridges Capital Partners on "Industrial Real Estate & Latin American Trade," and our own Jing was in attendance. One standout stat: Texas now leads the nation in total trade volume with Mexico at approximately $285 billion, nearly three times California's $98.5 billion.
