The first Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum breakfast of the year kicked off 2026 with strong energy and insight. From regional and industry forecasts to a thoughtful keynote by Daniel Potter of the Kinder Institute, the morning offered a strong look ahead for Houston. A meaningful moment was celebrating my mentor, Pat Kiley, on receiving the Lifetime Award. Cheers to a strong start to the year ahead for Houston’s business community.
Transformation often begins with reimagining what already exists. This office building renovation demonstrates how thoughtful design and visualization can drive meaningful repositioning.
My husband Warren and I had the joy of bringing together our teams from Johnson Design Group, PRISM Renderings, and Town Square Development Advisors for a holiday celebration that truly captured the spirit of the season.
The holiday season draws people into places of worship in a powerful way. Sanctuaries fill, fellowship halls come alive, and communities gather to celebrate, reflect, and reconnect. It is a time when space matters, not just how it looks, but how it supports meaning, welcome, and shared experience.
As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on my Word of the Year: RESET.
A great holiday gathering last Friday at Loro Asian Smokehouse, hosted by Kimley-Horn. The full house, great food, and easy conversations made it a wonderful opportunity to reconnect. With perfect weather to top it off, it was an ideal way to end the week. Jing and Deborah enjoyed being part of the celebration.
Thank you to McCord Development, Inc. for the invitation to their holiday party. It was great reconnecting, meeting more of the team, and seeing familiar clients. Moments like these highlight how collaborative our industry truly is. A wonderful evening filled with food, drinks, music, and conversation. Cheers to 2026 and more collaborations ahead!
The Houston CREMM Run, Run Rudolph holiday party was a festive blast! A winter wonderland filled with holiday cocktails, casino excitement, and great company. Guests arrived in sparkling attire and full Christmas spirit for a night of fun and memories, all while supporting BEAR (Be A Resource). It was truly a celebration to remember!
Deborah attended CREMM’s annual holiday party last night, stepping into a winter wonderland where Christmas cheer met casino excitement. With festive “Run, Run Rudolph” energy, guests enjoyed holiday cocktails, lively tables, and a co-ed night filled with fun, friends, and unforgettable moments.
During the holiday season, churches across all denominations serve as places of welcome, reflection, and hope. They are spaces where communities gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the source of joy and peace for many. Beyond worship services, churches host meals, music, outreach, and gatherings that bring people together and reinforce a deep sense of belonging and faith during this special time.
