May Founder's Message

I recently attended the 2026 Rice Business reunion, and this year’s event was especially meaningful because my two sons joined me.

When I was pursuing my MBA at Rice Business, they were still in elementary school and often tagged along to my study sessions and group projects. This time, they sat beside me in the classroom as young adults listening to one of my favorite professors, Dr. Brent Smith, speak on “The Gift of Reimagining.”

His message resonated deeply: as leaders and professionals, we should never become “finished products.” We must continue to reimagine ourselves, others, and the organizations we lead. One line especially stayed with me:

“Authenticity is not the courage to stay the same. It is the courage to remain true to purpose when purpose asks more of you than your old identity, your old labels, or your old systems can provide.”

That message feels especially relevant today as technology, AI, and client expectations continue to evolve. At PRISM, we are committed to continuing to grow, innovate, and find new ways to serve our clients while staying grounded in the relationships and purpose that define who we are.
