Gosling Oaks: Mixed-Use with Roots
Sometimes the best part of a site doesn’t need to be built—it’s already there. At Gosling Oaks, the name is more than branding. It reflects a commitment by Newman Commercial Real Estate to preserve what existed long before the first plans were drawn, including carefully relocating key site elements. Anchored by three 250-year-old heritage live oaks, this experiential mixed-use development is shaped by public greenspaces that define its identity.
That connection to landscape continues as construction progresses. Twenty-two overcup oaks, each approximately 30 feet tall, have been planted along the main drive, creating an immediate sense of arrival. PRISM supported the project by producing exterior renderings for marketing and pre-leasing, which is focused on attracting restaurant users to activate the outdoor experience.
Located in Spring, Texas, Gosling Oaks will include approximately 140,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, office, and medical office space, 11 outparcel pad sites, and a 390-unit Class A multifamily community. A central feature, Canopy Square, offers a children’s skywalk that wraps around a large legacy oak and its exploration treehouse, allowing families to enjoy adjacent restaurants while keeping an eye on the kids.
Identity Architects and KW Landscape have created a place where buildings, open spaces, and community come together as one. Gosling Oaks honors the past while shaping the future. It grows around what matters most, not over it, and is on track to open in Fall 2027.
