Bryan-College Station may best be known as the home of Texas A&M University. Developer Galindo Group is capitalizing on the university’s reputation for educational excellence. Their new ICON Innovation Condominiums will provide ultra-luxury homes for discerning buyers. The ICON is being marketed as the one place in College Station offering impeccable surroundings to inspire creative, innovative thought-leaders. PRISM worked with Galindo Group and the sales team at Martha Turner Sotheby's International to produce marketing renderings of the interiors, emphasizing the truly opulent ambiance residents and visitors will enjoy.
The ICON is just five miles from the university, overlooking Traditions Country Club and a 40-acre wildlife sanctuary. There will be 45 residences on 12 floors. Unlike any other multifamily building in the area, the ICON’s exterior will portray a future-forward aesthetic. Inside, luxury abounds, with details like real hardwood and Carrera marble floors, ceiling heights from 10-13 feet, Bosch appliances, frameless shower enclosures, balconies with natural gas connections, and personal storage units. Residences range from one bedroom units to the sprawling 5,000 s.f. penthouse units.
Amenities will include 24-hour reception, ID-restricted access, resort pool with cabanas and fire pit, EV charging, a dog park, indoor pet station, meeting rooms, and privately owned parking spaces. Future plans call for a commercial hub onsite, with boutique retailers and specialty restaurants. Galindo Group expects the ICON to bring together innovators from a cross-section of business, industry, science, and technology. Groundbreaking is expected to occur in mid-2023 and construction will take approximately 24 months. Goree Architects designed the building and GT Leach Constructors will be the builder.
